ITINERARY

DAY 1 LIMA PICK UP
Upon arrival reception and transfer to the select hotel - overnight (no meals)

Day 2 LIMA / CUSCO, CITY TOUR

You will be picked up from your hotel and transfer to the airport for your flight to Cusco upon arrival reception and transfer to the select hotel, morning at leisure to acclimatize to the altitude. In the afternoon 2;00pm you will be taken on a city tour and visit a local archeological sites, the Cathedral, Koricancha, Sacsayhuaman and surroundings returning later afternoon 5:30pm to your hotel around and enjoy the hospitality of the local people (B).

Day 3 MARAS AND MORAY TOUR
We pick you up from your hotel and we depart by car to village of Maras and the experimental agricultural terraces of Moray. It is believed this fascinating area is where the Incas created their own micro climate to adapt plants to the altitude, then we will visit the salt mines that are just below Maras. These mines are still fully operational and you can see the peasant at work on them. Return to Cusco (B-box Lunch)

Day 4 INCA TRAIL TO MACHU PICCHU 2/1 from Km. 104
We will pick up our passengers from their hotels at 5:40 AM, after which we will start our journey by train from Cusco. Then we set out on our trek to the Wiñaywayna archaeological complex and then onward to the town of Aguas Calientes, where we can enjoy a relaxing bath at the local hot springs. We will spend the night in a charming hotel. (Box lunch / Dinner)

Day 5 MACHU PICCCHU - CUSCO (See more about Machu Picchu)

We will take the first bus from Aguas Calientes to Machu Picchu and arrive at Machu Picchu. We will enjoy a professionally guided 2.5-hour visit of the great Machu Picchu sanctuary-city. There is also an optional hike for the more energetic and adventurous people in the group, to the top of Huaynapicchu Mountain - the pyramid-shaped peak that overlooks Machu Picchu. After our visit, we will take the bus back down to Aguas Calientes. In the afternoon we will take the train back to Cusco. We will shuttle you from the Cusco train station to your hotel by private bus. (breakfast included)

Day 6 SACRED VALLEY
After breakfast at 8:45am you will be taken through the Inca Sacred Valley where life has remained almost unchanged for 500 years. You will visit the impressive village of Pisac and the Indian market, enjoy the beautiful handicrafts on sale and wonder at the many ethnic tribal costumes worn, not just for tourists, but as part of their heritage by the local people. The tour also include the visit to Ollantaytambo fortress and the Chinchero Market Before returning to your hotel in Cusco late afternoon (around 6:30pm)(breakfast and Lunch included)

Day 7 CUSCO / PUERTO MALDONADO - TAMBOPATA 3 DAYS/ 2 NIGHTS
Welcome at Puerto Maldonado’s airport, transfer in bus to the port where our motor boat takes us on an hour ride on the Madre de Dios River toward Nái-Mecí Lodge, an exotic drink as welcome and receive an interesting briefing from our guide and discuss general rain forest ecology. Immediately after relaxing and refreshing at our fantastic bungalows, we can Start walking in the forest through the trail system, use the observation tower at the swamp and observe macaw nests and an amazing jungle sunset. Dinner and a shortbriefing for next day plans. As optional an interesting night walk to observe insects and amphibians. Overnight at Nái-Mecí Lodge. Meals: Lunch, Dinner.

Day 8 TAMBOPATA RIVER
A buffet breakfast will be offered for all our guests starting early activities. Once again our motor boat will take us on the river to observe the fabulous bird life until the rangers control and the entry to Sandoval Lake located in Tambopata Reserve. We start a 3 kilometer walk through an interesting trail until the Lake it self, board small canoes and paddle to observe monkeys, turtles, etc. and if lucky the family of Giant Otters. We walk back to our motorized boat and to our lodge. As a free option you can experience the adrenaline flying over the jungle form platform to platform in our canopy zip down. Dinner and overnight at Nái-Mecí Lodge.

Day 9 TRANSFER TO THE AIRPORT
Breakfast and transportation to the airport for your flight to Lima. end of the service
